Drusilla Arm Warmers

Full Drusilla
White Oak Studio tvyarn sock – 100% superwash merino wool; 175 yards/50 grams – 2 skeins in colorway “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” (sold in sets of 2)
NEEDLES: US 0 dpns – set of 4
GAUGE: 8 sts = 1″ in k2, p2 rib with work stretched so that knit “columns” are equal in width to purl “columns”
SIZE: ribbing will stretch to fit most women.  A note is included in the pattern for custom wrist sizing as desired.

Cuff: CO 72 sts. Work in st st for 5 rnds. Work k1, yo for 1 rnd. K one rnd. Work k2tog for 1 rnd. Work in st st for 4 rnds. Next rnd: k 1 live st with 1 CO st around. (To do, fold CO edge to meet live edge with WS facing. Insert LHN into the back half of one CO st from top to bottom and work together with next live st as k2tog.) P one rnd.

Arm: Work k2,p2 rib for 50 rnds. Next rnd: +k2, p2tog, (k2, p2) 5 times; rep from + around.
Work even for 25 rnds. Next rnd: ^k2, p1, (k2, p2) twice, k2, p2tog, (k2, p2) twice; rep from ^ around.
Work even for 10 rnds. Next rnd: #k2, p1, k2, p2tog, k2, p2, k2, p1, k2, p2, k2, p2tog; rep from # around.
Work even for 10 rnds. Next rnd: =(k2, p1) twice, k2, p2tog, k2, p1, k2, p2tog, k2, p1; rep from = around. 54 sts rem at end of dec section. Work even for 45 rnds or until arm reaches from 2″ past elbow to just past wrist.  (Note: pattern as written will produce a very snug-fitting wrist measurement. For a larger wrist or a looser fit, eliminate last one or two decrease rnds.)

Hand: k2, BO next sts loosely until 21 sts rem on needles (31 sts BO for standard size,) k to end, k2. Turn. Beg with a WS row, work back and forth with first and last 3 sts in seed st and rem sts in st st on rem 23 sts for 21 rnds. Next RS row: work 3 in seed st, ssk, k to last 5 sts, k2tog, work 3 in seed st. Work 1 row even. Rep last 2 rows until 9 sts rem.
Next RS row: k1, p1, ssk, k1, k2tog, p1, k1. Next (WS) row: (k1, p1) to last st, k1.
Next RS row: k1, ssk, k1, k2tog, k1. Next (WS) row: k1, p1, k1, p1, k1.
Next RS row: ssk, k1, k2tog. P 1 row. K 1 row.
Cont on 3 rem sts as i-cord for 20 rows or until i-cord reaches around middle finger. Graft 3 live sts to beg of i-cord. Cut yarn and weave in all ends. Block hand. (Do not block arm so that ribbing does not lose its elasticity.)
